Digital Twin Onboarding
April 17, 2026
If you just signed up, your first session no longer starts with a blinking cursor. Alfrada walks you through a nine-step guided flow — narrated by Alfred and Ada — where you share who you are, what you work on, and how you like to work. By the end, your main chat opens already knowing you, with starter prompts shaped around your actual goals.
What the flow does
- Welcomes you by name with an animated greeting.
- Asks for your story. Drag in files (CVs, PDFs, anything that describes you), paste links to your LinkedIn or other public profiles, or tap the mic and dictate it out loud.
- Enriches it live. Once you submit, you see Ada reading your inputs, running enrichment, and pulling out facts step by step — reasoning visible, not hidden.
- One-click connects your tools. Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, GitHub, LinkedIn, Slack, Outlook, Teams, Drive, Facebook, Zoom. Skip any you don't want.
- Personalizes you on three tabs: Interests (an interactive bubble field — tap to inflate the ones that matter most), Goals (chip selector for outcomes that actually matter to you), and Work Style (which channels you communicate on). Then a short follow-up MCQ clarifies what you picked.
- Shows you a snapshot. Alfred reveals a personal insight card summarizing who you are as he now understands you.
- Lets you edit your memory before it commits. The extracted facts appear with categories and confidence scores. Rewrite anything inline, delete what doesn't fit, save the rest.
- Hands off with starter prompts shaped around your goals, work style, and context. Click one to pre-fill your first message.
Every step has a Repeat and Mute control. Skip exits at any point. Back rehydrates the previous step from a checkpoint — no regenerated content. If you close the tab mid-flow, opening Alfrada again offers to resume where you left off.
When you'd notice it
- You sign up, open Alfrada, and three minutes later you're back in a normal chat. Your first suggested prompt already knows you run a solo consultancy, ship decks weekly, and want help turning call notes into follow-ups. You don't have to explain yourself every new thread.
- You closed the tab halfway through. Next time you open Alfrada, it offers to pick up where you left off without re-uploading your story.
- You're an existing user. None of this touches you — the flow only fires for fresh accounts.
Try it
- After onboarding, ask Alfrada "What do you already know about me?" — it surfaces the facts that were committed.
- "Update my working style — I actually prefer long-form output with context, not bullets." Your stored facts update from chat.
Heads up
This only triggers for new accounts. Existing accounts skip it entirely and nothing about your chat history, memory, or settings changes.
