Twitter (X) — Posting, Engagement & Analytics

April 19, 2026

Connect your X account in one click and Alfrada can use Twitter the way you do — post threads, like and retweet, follow, delete, and pull analytics on your own posts. Every action is safety-gated by default. You can connect up to three handles per workspace, and the Safety Center labels each one with your name (e.g. "Hamza's Twitter/X") so you always know which account is about to act.

What you can do

  • Look up users and tweets — profile details, bios, follower counts, recent tweets, search the last 7 days, see who quoted or retweeted a post, read your home timeline.
  • Post and delete — single tweets, threads, replies, quote-tweets, and posts with images or video attached.
  • Engage — like, unlike, retweet, unretweet, bookmark, follow, unfollow.
  • Pull analytics on tweets you own — impressions, engagements, video views, profile clicks.
  • Upload media — images, GIFs, and longer videos for use in tweets.
  • Connect up to three X handles per workspace. Personal + brand + side-project is the common split. Each handle shows its @username in Integrations and the Safety Center.

When you'd reach for it

  • You want to launch something on X but keep your hands off the compose box. "Draft a 5-tweet thread announcing the new release — lead with the top user outcome, one tweet per feature, end with a CTA to the docs. Attach the hero image." You approve the draft in chat, the thread posts.
  • You want to know what worked. "Pull analytics on my last 10 tweets, rank by impressions per engagement, and tell me which format converted best."
  • You're running community ops and want the agent to act on your behalf — but only for safe moves. Flip Post, like, retweet & follow to Allow on your brand handle, leave destructive actions on Ask. The agent can reply to mentions and retweet supporters unattended, and still flags every deletion.

Try it

  • "Search the last week's posts about 'Alfrada' on X, summarise the sentiment, and draft three reply tweets I could send."
  • "Post this thread from my main account — one tweet per bullet, attach the banner image to the first one."
  • "Pull impressions and engagement on my last 20 tweets and tell me which day of the week I perform best."
  • "Look up the latest 5 tweets from this account and summarise the technical claims."
  • "Follow every account I retweeted in the last 30 days that I'm not already following — show me the list first."

Heads up

  • Connecting is just a login. Integrations → connect, sign into X, authorise. No developer portal, no API keys.
  • Defaults to Ask. Until you flip the toggle, every post, like, retweet, follow, and deletion shows an approval card with the exact text about to go out, per handle. This is intentional — Twitter is the fastest way to ship a regret. Flip individual handles to Allow if you want unattended action (e.g. a community-ops handle).
  • Up to three handles per workspace.
  • Rare: every write action might suddenly fail with a "credits depleted" error. That means our shared X API pool is empty. Tell us in Discord and we'll top it up within the hour.
