Pexels — Real Photos & Videos In Your Deliverables
April 21, 2026
Alfrada can pull real photography and stock footage from Pexels straight into your sessions. No more AI-generated approximations when you actually want a photo of a real person, place, or product. The matches drop into your session and are immediately usable by the presentation builder, video editor, and image lab in the same turn.
What you can do
- Search Pexels photos by keyword, with filters for orientation, size, colour, and language. Top matches download automatically at the size you asked for.
- Pull from the curated photo feed when you want high-craft photography without being picky about subject.
- Search Pexels videos by keyword, with filters for orientation, size, and duration. Quality auto-selects from UHD down to SD.
- Fetch a specific photo or video by ID — useful when an image was already referenced and you want a fresh download or a different size.
- Attribution travels with the file. Every download saves a small credits file alongside it with the photographer's name and link, so you can render proper credits whenever you need them.
When you'd reach for it
- You're building a pitch deck for a B2B SaaS and the vibe is off — every slide looks like an AI render. "Swap the hero image on each slide for real photography of a startup team in a modern office." Five different real shots get pulled and slotted in.
- You're cutting a 30-second product ad and need B-roll of real hands using a laptop. "Find 4–5 short video clips of hands typing on a laptop, landscape, high-def, then send them to the video editor as B-roll."
- You're writing a blog post about coastal Portugal and want a hero photo that isn't a stock cliché. "Pull three curated photos of the Algarve coastline in landscape, with credits."
Try it
- "Search Pexels for photos of a founder workspace, portrait orientation. Pull the top 5."
- "Find 6 Pexels videos of sunrise over mountains, 15–30 seconds each, UHD where available."
- "Pull 10 editorially-curated Pexels photos — no specific subject."
- "List the credits for every Pexels asset in this session."
Heads up
- Pexels' free tier limits requests per hour. The agent watches the rate limit and pauses if it's about to run out, so on heavy search runs you may see it deliberately slow down.
- Already wired into the playbooks. The Social Media Content, Investor Deck, Image Generation, Presentation Mastery, and Product Showcase playbooks all know to reach for Pexels when they need real imagery — so it shows up automatically in those flows.
- Attribution lives in a side file, not a watermark. If you're publishing somewhere that requires visible attribution, ask Alfrada to list the credits and it'll produce a clean citation list.
